New year cleanup offer
For this month only, a general system cleanup will cost only £20 (usually £30). This will include a check of all your computer security, clearing of junk files built up throughout the years, updating of all system software and device drivers, startup speed optimisation and an analysis of your system to identify any possible speed improvements.
As stated above, this service will be charged at just £20 until 31st January 2012 and no hourly charge will be added.
Virus Removal and Protection
This service involves the removal of any viruses on a system with minimal impact and subsequent protection. If it is not possible to remove a particular virus without affecting the system in an abnormal way, then an OS reinstallation may be advised which may incur different charges.
This service is charged at £30 for the first hour and then £15 for subsequent hours.
Data Backup and Restoration
The importance of data backup is often forgotten, until that dreaded day when you have a system breakdown and lose important files - we've all been there (there is nothing worse than losing years worth of photographs).
Backup is often seen as something that only businesses need to do, however, I believe otherwise, and as such I offer this service at a price as suitable as possible for home users.
Due to the many variables possible with this service (one off backup, monthly backups, amount of data required to be backed up etc.), the price can vary. Please contact me if you wish to get a quote for backup and/or restoration.
Networking Issues and Installs
Having issues on your network or wish to have networking hardware installed? Then maybe I can help. I hold a Cisco certification in networking (CCNA1) and have experience working with networked environments.
If you are just having issues connecting to the internet, checking your email, or other network problems, then I charge at my standard rate of £15 p/hour.
I also offer a broadband installation service where I can assist you with the setup and installation of your new broadband service. This costs £20 and we will ensure that you are up and running on the internet before I leave (subject to your ISP availability).
Diagnostics and Upgrades
For a low fee of £15, I will perform tests and diagnostics on your system to identify issues with it's performance, and areas which can be improved.
This service may be useful if you wish to upgrade your system to improve performance but do not know where to start. I have a lot of experience upgrading and building computer systems, and am able to advise you in this area.
I am also able to assist with the installation of any upgrades to your system. Bought some new memory but not sure how to go about fitting it? Let me know, and we'll see if I can help! Cost for upgrades will vary based on what is required. Please contact me for details.
General Repairs and Other Issues
Have an issue that is not covered by any of the services mentioned? Then please contact me with your problem, and I should be able to help. I have experience working with a range of computer issues and the resolution of them.
Callout Fee
If you live within the local area then there is no callout charge.

Labour Charges
I charge £15 p/hour for all my services unless otherwise specified. Minimum charge on a callout is also £15 (assuming any work is completed).
